The Geologist-in-Charge oversees the entire project. Their job is to make sure that
all assignments and work is completed on time and delivered to the teacher. The GIC will have to have patience, a working
knowledge of research and computers, the ability to work with groups of people and have a good understanding of the time constraints
of a major project. In addition to the leadership roles listed above, the GIC will also be responsible for the geologic
information that is to be presented. He or she must make sure that the sources used are credible and up to date.
The teacher will meet with all GIC's after the groups have decided their topics and roles.
